Louise Rogers
Louise Rogers was appointed an Operating Partner of Exponent in 2021.
Louise’s main areas of interest are in Media and Education Technology, with a particular focus on digital, classifieds, recruitment and property technology.
Louise has a 15 year track record working in Private Equity and Venture Capital backed digital businesses in Europe and the US. Louise has a love of cultural and business transformations and has now been involved in 8 different PE and VC businesses. She is also an active Angel and VC Investor in the EdTech space.
Her first private equity investment was Exponent’s first investment in 2005, the Times Education Supplement. Louise worked with the Exponent team to digitalise the business, going on to lead it as CEO through two further PE owners.
For the past 8 years Louise has worked as a portfolio Chair and NED, most recently as the Chair and Interim CEO of the Motion Picture Licensing Company, as an NED on OpenClassrooms - a fast-growing French EdTech company - and recently as the Co-Owner and Senior NED of the New Scientist magazine from 2017 to its sale to DMGT in early 2021.
Born and raised in the UK, Louise has a BA Honors degree in Architecture and Design from Brighton University and then attended The London Business School.
