The story

Isio Advisory is a leading independent provider of advisory and administration services to the sponsors and trustees of pension schemes in the UK.

The company was formed by a corporate carve-out of the pensions advisory practice of KPMG LLP. Exponent partnered with the incumbent management team and partner group led by CEO Andrew Coles and introduced Operating Chair Roger Siddle.

Clients range from FTSE-100 corporate sponsors through to the trustees of small defined benefit schemes. Coverage is provided from eight offices across the UK and services include valuation and reporting, negotiation of funding agreements and advising on investment strategies.

We were attracted to Isio due to its strong commercial reputation, its deep relationships with a blue-chip client base and the broad range of growth opportunities available to the business under independent ownership.
