The story

Kingsbridge Healthcare Group is the largest private healthcare provider in Northern Ireland and the only hospital operator active in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Founded in 2004, the group now spans 4 hospitals and 11 outpatient centres undertaking over 25,000 surgical procedures annually across a broad range of acute and complex treatments.

Kingsbridge addresses the growing demand for private healthcare across the island of Ireland which is underwritten by long-term demographic trends and capacity constraints. Against this backdrop, we were attracted to Kingsbridge’s sharp focus on patient outcomes and experience, on doctor engagement and partnership, and on excellence in operations and facilities.

Exponent is partnering with Kingsbridge’s management team, led by CEO Mark Regan, and co-founder Dr. Suresh Tharma as Chair. We will work with the team to continue driving Kingsbridge’s growth across payor groups as we invest further in people, equipment and technology in both existing and new facilities.
