The story

Ethos Engineering is a European leader in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering design, with a focus on data centres. Headquartered in Dublin, Ethos has designed over 90 data centres in 19 countries across EMEA, representing over 2 gigawatts of installed capacity.

Demand for data centres is in structural growth, and M&E design is the most complex, mission-critical and highest-value element of the data centre design process. Against this positive market backdrop, we were attracted to Ethos’ high-quality specialist proposition and its deep relationships with leading global hyperscale and colocation operators.  

Exponent is partnering with Ethos’ founders, led by CEO Greg Hayden, and has introduced John Moore as Chair. We will work with the team to accelerate Ethos’ international growth, expand its design and delivery resource, broaden its capabilities, and further invest in its people, processes and technology.
