Joined Exponent in 2004

Tom has an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and has seventeen years of private equity experience.

Tom joined 3i in London as an investment Director in 1988 and moved to Spain in 1991 to co-found 3i’s Spanish business. He returned to London in 1995 as a Director of 3i’s London buy-out business and was involved in making a number of high-profile successful investments including Lloyd’s of London Press, Travelex, Fairview Homes, Go-Fly and Westminster Healthcare with an enterprise value of over £1bn.

He works with Exponent's investments in V Group, Trainline and Lowell.
