Simon has a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oriel College, Oxford and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Simon joined Exponent in 2008 after four years at Apax where he focused upon buyouts in the retail, consumer and leisure sector. His transactions at Apax included Somerfield, Travelex, and Ruesch International. Simon started his career as a consultant with OC&C Strategy Consultants, where for four years he focused upon strategic advisory projects primarily in the retail and consumer sector.

He works with Exponent's investments in Radley and Dreams.
