Chris studied Economics at the University of Manchester before qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in London. He has since had 16 years of private equity experience.
He was with Bank of America for 2 years before joining 3i where he spent 15 years prior to founding Exponent. At 3i, Chris was joint head of the London buy-out business and specifically responsible for building and heading the media team. He was involved in a significant number of high profile investments including Pinewood-Shepperton Studios, Telemedia, Mediatel, Fonecta, MORI, Mill Digital Media and Coutts Consulting, with transactions with an enterprise value in excess of £1bn.
He works with Exponent's investment in Durrants.
