Quorn Foods
Quorn Foods trades under the brands Quorn and Cauldron. Quorn is a UK market leader in meat-alternative foods and is one of the largest meat-alternative brands in the world. The business has an established brand with a loyal customer base (it is 35th largest brand by sales in the UK food industry).
We believe that there is still significant growth in the UK and under our ownership we are investing in advertising and marketing while also driving new product development. At the same time there is a clear opportunity to accelerate growth in the US and to build on recent success in other markets (particularly Australia).
We are backing the incumbent management team (led by Kevin Brennan) and have appointed Clive Sharpe as Chairman. Clive was previously CEO of Golden Wonder and WT Foods and Chairman of Burtons Foods.
