Storio group, headquartered in Amsterdam, is Europe’s leading digital consumer service for personalised photo products and gifts. Storio group serves 11 million customers across 14 European markets, with eight brands: Photobox, albelli, Hofmann, posterXXL, fotoknudsen, önskefoto, bonusprint and monalbumphoto.
Exponent acquired Photobox in 2016 from a wide ownership base, including six VC investors and a range of individual small shareholders, having been attracted to the business by its strong brand and customer proposition.
In 2022 Photobox merged with albelli, which had a highly complementary geographic footprint. The combined group (renamed to Storio group) is a more diversified business and a clear market leader across Europe, serving customers through innovative technology and new product development.
